The Phase 1 Clinical Research Center (MPHCTC) at İzmir Ekonomi University (IEU) MEDICALpoint Hospital has achieved a significant milestone by pioneering a globally important, innovative clinical trial in the field of oncology.

In the international DeLLphi-313 study, which offers new hope for patients with small cell lung cancer (SCLC), the enrollment of our first patient has been successfully completed, and the first dose has been administered at our center. This major breakthrough once again demonstrates our center’s international-standard capability, infrastructure, and reliability in early-phase clinical research.

We are proud to have reached this critical milestone in the Turkish arm of this prestigious study, which evaluates the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic properties of innovative targeted therapies (Tarlatamab and ZL-1310 combinations) in small cell lung cancer.

Led by Assoc. Prof. Gürkan Güner, MD, as the Principal Investigator, the study is being meticulously carried out by our dedicated clinical research team using our state-of-the-art technological infrastructure. As the IEU MEDICALpoint Hospital Phase 1 Clinical Research Center, we continue to strive toward our mission of contributing to global medicine and bringing the most innovative treatment options to our patients.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to this success, especially our Principal Investigator Assoc. Prof. Gürkan Güner, MD, our entire clinical research team, our study nurses, all supporting departments, and the patients who place their trust in us.
